Scope
- This policy applies to all candles and related items purchased from A Few Burnt Hairs.
Contact first
- Please contact us before initiating any return or refund request. Email contact@afewburnthairs.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
- For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, include clear photos of the item and packaging.
Eligibility
- Returns and refunds are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, unburned candles in their original packaging.
- Items that are burned, heavily used, or missing original packaging are not eligible for a full refund; a partial refund or store credit may be offered at our discretion.
- If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will assess and offer a replacement, exchange, or refund.
Return shipping and costs
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless we explicitly authorize a prepaid label.
- Use a tracked and insured shipping method when possible; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit if tracking was not provided.
How to return
- Email contact@afewburnthairs.com with your order number, issue description, and photos if applicable.
- Receive return authorization and instructions—do not ship items before authorization.
- Ship the item back at your cost, packed securely to avoid damage.
- Notify us with tracking information once shipped.
Refunds and processing
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval; timing may vary by payment provider.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged/incorrect item).
Exchanges
- Exchanges are handled as a return plus a new order. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless otherwise arranged.
