Scope

  • This policy applies to all candles and related items purchased from A Few Burnt Hairs.

Contact first

  • Please contact us before initiating any return or refund request. Email contact@afewburnthairs.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, include clear photos of the item and packaging.

Eligibility

  • Returns and refunds are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, unburned candles in their original packaging.
  • Items that are burned, heavily used, or missing original packaging are not eligible for a full refund; a partial refund or store credit may be offered at our discretion.
  • If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will assess and offer a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Return shipping and costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless we explicitly authorize a prepaid label.
  • Use a tracked and insured shipping method when possible; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit if tracking was not provided.

How to return

  1. Email contact@afewburnthairs.com with your order number, issue description, and photos if applicable.
  2. Receive return authorization and instructions—do not ship items before authorization.
  3. Ship the item back at your cost, packed securely to avoid damage.
  4. Notify us with tracking information once shipped.

Refunds and processing

  • Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 7 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval; timing may vary by payment provider.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged/incorrect item).

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are handled as a return plus a new order. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless otherwise arranged.

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel before your order ships, contact us immediately. If the order has already shipped, follow the return process above.
